Giving feedback to the CEO

"I think the most courageous (or crazy) action I did is to give feedback to my CEO after he spoke in public to us. I did it with a genuine interest to help him deliver better in the future. I was not fired on the spot and I hope to believe that he did appreciate someone stepping out of his comfort zone to help him out." 


Key takeaway: Giving feedback, especially to a person in a position of power, can be daunting.  However, feedback is crucial for us all to grow and most leaders recognise and embrace this.  We can learn to give constructive feedback in a gentle and helpful way and each time we deliver it, it gets easier.
